Abstract

Learning through analogies is an approach widely recognized for its effectiveness in stimulating cognitive and metacognitive skills. Biomimicry advocates to search in nature for models that, through imitation, can be used to address our challenges and problems. The cell, the biological structure par excellence, has shown its efficiency in harboring life for billions of years. This brief opinion article, from a biomimetic perspective, proposes to use the structure and organization of the eukaryotic animal cell as a source of ideas and concepts for the sustainable organization and management of educational centers.
