PORTAL'S PURPOSE

The Research Portal of the Basque Science System is an information system that allows you to explore the R+D+I structure, locate experts in a scientific research field and access the results of the research carried out at the Basque Science System.

Accessing the Research Portal, implies acceptance of the conditions of use set out below.

ACCESS

The access to the contents of the Website will be carried out according to the policy established by the entity.

The Basque Science System will be able to modify, at any moment and without previous notice, the information on the website, and it will be able deactivate and/or cancel any of the contents and services that integrate it. At the same way, the Basque Science System reserves for itself the right to update present use conditions.

Access to the website is free. The user undertakes to make appropriate use of the content and services offered in accordance with the law. Accessing and using the website implies that the user accepts in full and agrees to fully comply with the terms and conditions detailed in this legal notice. It is necessary to identify yourself as a user of the Basque Science System Research Portal to access some specific services.

Identification is carried out through the RedIRIS Identity Service (SIR), where the institution to which you belong must be selected and identified with the institutional user account.

The first time that you access as a registered user person to the Research Portal of the Basque Research System is compulsory to accept explicitly the personal data protection declaration.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND OWNERSHIP OF THE PORTAL

The Basque Science System is the owner and/or licensee of all the information contained in this portal, y its graphic design, images, databases, indexes, source codes, brands and logos, which are protected in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Law and the Trademark Law.

Its availability and use does not imply, in any case, the transfer of its ownership or the granting of a right of use in favour of the user, so that any reproduction, copy, total or partial distribution, or commercialisation, will require prior written authorisation from the Basque Science System, with the entity reserving, in case of improper use, the right to exercise any legal action necessary for the restitution of damages caused. Likewise, the user is obliged to compensate the entity for any damage or harm that may be caused by the use of this website in violation of these general conditions and/or current legislation.
