IBF Instituto Biofisika
Research at Instituto Biofisika (IBF), in partnership with Fundación Biofísica Bizkaia (FBB), focuses on advancing knowledge about the physical and chemical processes underlying biology and disease. As a joint research centre of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), the IBF provides a stimulating environment to train new scientists and to carry out innovative biochemical and biophysical research in a new research building with cutting-edge facilities located in the Leioa campus of the UPV/EHU. With the FBB accredited as a Basque Excellence Research Centre (BERC) by the Basque Government, the IBF and FBB partnership enjoys a strong national and international reputation.
