El aprendizaje-servicio cocurricular en la educación superior: una revisión sistemática

Resumen

El objetivo de la presente revisión sistemática busca confirmar la presencia del aprendizaje-servicio cocurricular (en adelante ApS cocurricular) en la universidad, distinguir sus características particulares y analizar qué competencias se desarrollan a diferencia de su modalidad curricular. Para el efecto, se han formulado las preguntas de investigación con la aplicación de la estrategia PICO. Esta revisión sistemática se ha desarrollado a través del protocolo PRISMA que ha permitido indagar en las bases de datos Google Académico, Web of Science, ERIC, Scopus, Education Research Complete y Education Database.Los resultados indican que el ApS cocurricular constituye un espacio de aprendizaje reconocido por algunas instituciones de educación superior, trabaja competencias de desarrollo personal y, en algunos casos, profesionalizantes, asociadas al currículo con relación a objetivos de aprendizaje plasmados en los objetivos de servicio y tiene un importante componente reflexivo. En lo relativo ala acreditación de las experiencias de ApS cocurriculares, se dan diferencias relevantes, en algunos casos recibe créditos o constituye un requisito de titulación y, en otros, es un espacio voluntario. Con respecto al tiempo de dedicación, se implementa en espacios temporalesmás flexibles que el ApS curricular, lo que permite un sostenimiento de la relación con el socio comunitario
