Abstract
In this paper the general principles of the geometrical optics and the shape of the theoretical wave spectra TMA (supported by experimental data) are used to derive a numerical model which can be applied to shallow waters for the prediction of environmental impact in extreme wave and pollution conditions. In a coastal zone of the canary archipelago, this model is put into practice, giving coherent results with the real situations.
