Abstract

The study that I will present at this congress, analyzes the lives of bertsolaris from the careeconomy. Bertsolarismo has had a long history in the Basque tradition, and in recent years it has beenmaking significant strides in the gender perspective. Likewise, the look of care opens a reflection onthe organizations of lives and has become a claim of a social need. In the interviews carried out usingthe life stories technique, it is deduced that bertsolaris have had conflicts to reconcile their personallife with activity of bertsolari, and that has been especially influenced by the symbolic capital and thefamily formation of each one. For this reason, we want to investigate the strategies developed to carryout care tasks and the keys to make the lives of cultural creators livable
