Abstract

This article analyses the singularities of the influential politics’ language in the Basque Country. After the end of terrorism, structures of the precedent period, created by the radical nationalism, remain. The concept of “enemy”, key since the nineteenth century, and the myth of “Basque conflict”, related to several ideological stereotypes which difficult the establishment of democratic discourse, are still relevant.
