Abstract
Subjective perception, and the possibility of making quantitative and qualitative comparisons make the CEVI project (Changements et événements au cours de la vie, in french [changes and events in the course of life]) a referent and a tool that sheds light on the way different peoples and nations remember. This report shows the data obtained from the Basque Country’s sample in three different sections: last year’s events, inflexion points throughout life and socio-historical events; furthermore, with every mentioned event, people’s subjective evaluations were gathered (i.e., gain, loss, etc.). The results are discussed in terms of groups’ identities and people’s well-being.
