Abstract

Mobile learning and apps have acquired importance as teaching resources. In this study, we located a series of apps in Basque language that are currently available on digital platforms and that can be useful for working on social sciences. Using an analysis template, we studied their general characteristics, their communicative model and teaching processes, as well as their validity in meeting the objectives of social science teaching. The results suggest that, although the analyzed apps have several shortcomings, they can be a potential resource to be integrated into educational contexts.
