Abstract

This article examines the importance of the not-immediately-visible, but profound and persistent, impacts of ETA violence on the business environment. To this end, the testimonies of almost fifty people have been analysed. The narrative study identifies two key factors: persistence in time and the role of the business context in which the violence is projected, both of which highlight significant indirect effects. The role of resilience emerges in turn as a stealthy antidote to terror
