Abstract

Undoubtedly, an aspect of interest is that of access to the body of education inspectors, but it is no less so that of the performance of the functions of that body by officials who, not belonging to it, perform these functions for more or less periods of time prolonged. It is worthwhile, due to the situation of this performance by officials of other educational bodies in the CCAA, as well as in the area of management of the MEFP, to pay the attention that is intended in this article to this situation, which is, without a doubt, different depending on the territory of the country in which we are located and the most recent history of the management of the same regarding the needs of urgent need of the coverage of inspector positions, in accident regime. In this way, it is intended to give a general vision on aspects related to the performance of the inspection functions in the different Autonomous Communities (except the Basque Country from which data have not been obtained), such as the proportion of accidents in the workforce, the proportion of inspectors in relation to the population or the variations of the workforce in recent years, such that among these and other aspects, a photo can be drawn that gives an idea of the current situation of accidents in the inspection in Spain
