Abstract

The purpose of this communication is to present the results of the research carried out on the role played by the theories and ethical principies of Social Work in the decision-making processes of recently graduated postgraduate students enrolled in a Master's Degree. We investigated which were the ethical theories that supported their argumentative processes. For its elaboration we have based on the research published in 2011 in the Basque Country by our research team, and in which the studies published in 2006 in both Israel and Chile were replicated on the same subject. Given our interest in the ethical dimension in the formation of Social Work, we consider it of utmost importance to know what principies and ethical theories reflect the future social workers in their arguments, to improve the teaching-Iearning process of the competence of meaning ethical.
