Resumen

Aunque los cambios socioeconómicos de las últimas décadas requieren nuevos modelos de relación dentro de las empresas, así como la promoción activa de la igualdad entre mujeres y hombres, los actuales sistemas de relaciones laborales continúan estando diseñados en base a modelos tradicionales del (hombre) trabajador. En este artículo, analizamos desde una perspectiva de género algunos de los antecedentes y las consecuencias de este fenómeno. Revisamos la evidencia de la situación de discriminación de las mujeres trabajadoras en cuanto a diferentes condiciones laborales. Al mismo tiempo, subrayamos la necesidad de poner en valor la plena participación de las mujeres y los valores estereotípicamente femeninos como un elemento esencial para el correcto funcionamiento organizacional en el marco de las relaciones laborales. En relación a esto, identificamos estrategias que los diferentes agentes implicados (empresariado, sindicatos, personas trabajadoras y organismos reguladores) pueden desarrollar con el fin de adaptar los sistemas de relaciones laborales a las necesidades actuales.
