Resumen

La controversia que se remonta a varios siglos en el campo de la psicología, es si la psicología debe ser considerada una ciencia natural o una ciencia histórica. Debido al vínculo entre la psicología y el lenguaje, esta controversia se extiende a las áreas del conocimiento en las que se pueden estudiar las lenguas. En las ciencias cognitivas ha habido un importante debate en los últimos años sobre el bilingüismo, y siguiendo este debate, argumentamos en este artículo que la mirada de la psicología crítica o histórica puede abrir nuevas puertas a la sociolingüística vasca.
