Resumen
Objective: To explore the perception of professional quality of life of management staff in the Spanish healthcare setting during the COVID-19 pandemic and its relationship with sociodemographic and resilience factors. Methods: Descriptive and correlational, cross-sectional study. Healthcare managers completed online the Professional-Quality-of-Life35, the Brief-Resilient-Coping-Scale and a survey with sociodemographic and professional data, during May-November 2020. Results: 848 professionals participated. Management staff show a medium quality of their professional life, with higher intrinsic motivation, medium-high workload and a lower perception of manage-rial support. The levels of resilience shown are medium, highlighting the perception of growth in the face of adverse situations. Being female, 40-56 years-old, nurse, with less management experience and no management training constitute in profile of higher vulnerability. Conclusions: Intrinsic motivation, managerial support, resilience and training are important factors in reinforcing the quality of professional life.
