Abstract

The exhaustion of trademark rights is one of the most important legal institutions in the area of the industrial property because it means the end of the exclusive property rights in commercialization of products becoming a free trade. Therefore, the economic implications of the exhaustion of trade mark rights are very important and this paper seeks to describe the legal concept and the features according to the doctrine and the case-law.
