Resumen

How can journalism students get the habit of being well informed? With the challenge of responding to this question, an innovative educational project has been created, which aims to promote students ? independent learning on current information. To do this, we designed a tool the students can use in order to self-asess their knowledge and deepen in issues related to the present. It is therefore a project that focuses on independent learning through active learning methodology with the support of information technology, adapted to a context of multilingual education. It also offers the tools to assess student competence and progression. It is assumed, that to be formed as a journalist, requires to be well informed on, and this task can not be taught as if it were another subject, but must be instilled in students as a habit. The online test offers to students in Communication grades the opportunity to become familiar with the latest news and the necessary keys to delve into the most significant social events.
