Abstract
In this study we analyze the perceptions and asessments of the hoeless about existing resources to tackle homelessness. To do this we have done in depth interviews with 32 homeless people that sleep on the street or in some sort of night device inot the historical territory ob Biscay, in the Basque Country. The main results underline that the resources most valued by the homeless people are the day care centers. On the opposite side, the shelters are the most critical resources. Among the claims raised in this work raised to have a greater intimacy within the resources, the extension of the centers hours or the increasing of ticket to leave their belongings. In the same way we have detected two main strains. The first concerns about the struggle detected between rigidity and flexibility and the second is the competition for access to the existing resources between the indigenous and foreign homeless people.
