Resumen

According to experts, the real potential of a new technology usually takes a generation to develop. In the case of the digital natives (who have grown up immersed in digital technology) we are still in this period of transition which will lead to a change in habits and ways of thinking caused by the thrust of this generation. According to some estimates, within 20 years, this group could constitute 70% of the world's population. In the field of education, the students of today no longer correspond to those for which they were created teaching traditional education systems. This Communication aims to explore what direction they should take educational innovation to adapt to the characteristics of this new group.
