Abstract
The present research focuses on the main contributions of the Mondragon Cooperative Experience in the development of new ways of solidarity economy, based on the perceptions of the principal participants in such initiatives. The objective of this research is to verify the working hypothesis put forward over the last 10 years of work between Lanki (Institute of Cooperative Studies) and Mundukide Foundation. This collaboration is directed towards promoting the socioeconomic feasibility of the solidarity projects, based on the knowledge gathered in the Mondragon Cooperative Experience. The concept of “solidarity economy” is a key point in the theoretical framework. It helps to understand other ways of dealing with economics, and it also provides the possibility for progressing in the construction of new alternative models of development.
