Abstract

Problems arising from both depth and use in Zorrotzaurre (Bilbao), have slowed the rehabilitation of post-industrial and river-maritime areas, in those waterfronts that are spatially constructed as waste places of rest and dispossession, whose radical alteration does not justify at all oblivion of a memorable past but to find new strategies for re-appropriation, to try understand its historical characteristics. Urban planning and social revitalization have scarcely influenced heretofore, when taking specific determinations from different sides. We considered legal advocate for proposals to understand and address the budgets of conservation and maintenance or preservation, with changes and modifications impact at various angles.
