Abstract

In the poetry of Lauxeta, in his vision of the world and of writing, what emerges with singular force is the imprint of the phenomenon of the city in general and of Bilbao in particular. In the work of G. Aresti, Bilbao and its inhabitants provide the usual source for his inspiration. We analyse the influence held by the experience of the city, the construction of Bilbao, in both poets.
