The aim of this work was to investigate the behaviour of two legumes under the action of an a-ryl-carbamate herbicide: asulam; as well as its impact in the acuatic ecosystem. The chlorophylls contents and stomatal response of Medicago sativa and Trifolium pratense under three doses (0.1 %, 1 % and 10 %) of asulam was investigated. The consequences of this herbicide in the acuatic medium have been estimated at 1, 10 and 20 ppm, analyzing the effect produced in the energetic performance of Chlorella pyrenoidosa.
