Abstract

This paper analyzes the impact that the use of Scratch has in a group of prisoners of Nanclares (Alava). We analyzed the evolution of the creative thinking of the prisoners and the contributions of the various participants that is, prisioners participants in a Scratch workshop, prison´s professionals and the researcherformer itself. The singularity of the environment has been decisive in the choice of measuring instruments. These were mainly the fieldnotes and the researcher´s journal, the CREA Test and a questionnaire of satisfaction with the workshop. It has been observed that the dynamics of prisons, prisoner�s features and socioecological environment offer few possibilities for the development of creative thinking. Despite being a small population, the study concludes that in this context or similar, Scratch could encourage changes in participants who would work with it continuously.
