Resumen

In the context of the implementation of the dual training itinerary in the degree of Business Administration and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), this paper presents the design and use proposal of the electronic portfolio (ePortfolio) as a tool to support the teaching and learning process of this itinerary. The pilot scheme carried out by the Virtual Campus of the UPV/EHU (EHUfolio), has served as a reference to test the application that allows the use of the electronic portfolio (MAHARA) integrating it into an interoperable environment. This environment opens the possibility to the use of virtual classrooms with other approaches. More specifically, the use of teaching and learning spaces directed from a competence and student-centered approach. In the following sections the use of the ePortfolio is developed in the context of the dual training itinerary. Likewise, the functionalities of the integrated platforms in the virtual learning environment are addressed. The paper ends with the main conclusions and future lines of research.
