Resumen
The traditional clinical scales used for the diagnosis of the functional state of patients with neurological disease are subjective and provide a low resolution. However, it is possible to include force and movement sensors in passive rehabilitation devices, inorder to make an objective and quantitative diagnosis. This work presents the design of an instrumented crutch, which in cludes a force sensor, an inclinometer and an IMU, which consists of a triaxial accelerometer and gyroscope. In addition, it shows the values of the force and inclination, obtained in a case of study. The inclination estimated by the inclinometer and the IMU is validated using a camera.
