Resumen

This PhD thesis was focused on the development of various approaches for the signalamplification in bioanalytical assays. In current research work design of sensitiveplatforms for analyte detection based on complex biochemical reactions and surfacechemistry of metal and semiconductor nanoparticles was performed. Consideringcomplexity of each system various surface modification approaches were chosen. Thereaction conditions were optimized for each of the proposed methods in order toreceive maximum of the signal enhancement. The developed systems were applied forsensitive detection of small and big biomolecules, such as ascorbic acid, copper (II)ions, proteins and antibodies. The influence of the interferents in the sample matrixwas investigated. All proposed methods were compared with conventionalbioanalytical assays and showed huge improvement of the limit of detection. Alldeveloped biosensing platforms can find potential application in diagnosticlaboratories.
