Resumen

Fluorescence lifetimes from specific ( nu ',J') rovibrational levels of the A(0u +) and B(0u +) states of 130Te2 have been measured by LIF. For the A state, lifetimes decrease slowly from nu '=7 (943+or-68 ns) to nu '=13 (764+or-12 ns), owing to the variation of the electronic transition moment with internuclear distance. Lifetimes decrease sharply for nu '>13, due to perturbation effects. A collision cross section of sigma =140+or-6 AA2 has been measured. For the B state, collisionless lifetimes of 80+or-10 ns have been measured for nu '=2-5, J<100, in agreement with previous measurements. © 1993 IOP Publishing Ltd.
