Resum

Celiac disease is a chronic immune-mediated intestinal pathology. The social life of coeliacpatients is restricted, since having to follow a gluten free diet has a major impact on daily activities. Itis thought that an appropriate nutritional education program may improve coeliac people´s physicaland social health. Even more, as the impact on relatives of those with coeliac disease is significantand considering that general population play an important role in the care and inclusion of coeliacpeople, it is considered that addressing education not only to the patient but also to the society mightbe of interest. Therefore, the aim of this work is to design an intervention to develop NutritionalEducation. Didactic units have been created for the assimilation and integration of concepts related toceliac disease, gluten, diet and a healthy lifestyle, both for coeliacs and for the general population, based on the results of predetermined competencies and learning outcomes. In addition, a plan hasbeen designed to evaluate the effectiveness of these units.
