Résumé
Networked Labs for Training in Sciences and Technologies for Information and Communication (NEWTON1) is a Horizon 2020 project aiming to develop a pan-European platform that will integrate a set of distributed labs in order to facilitate the access of a large audience, including people with disabilities, to a large database of learning content that will be experienced in novel manners. These novel manners will be defined by innovative technology-enhanced learning (TEL) methods, some of which relate to gamification, augmented reality, multimedia and multisensorial content delivery, adaptation of content delivery to learner operational environment (e.g. network conditions, user profile). The purpose is to improve learning process and increase learner quality of experience (QoE). Therefore, another important objective is to elaborate novel standardization proposals in the field of QoE evaluation in TEL as there is a lack of standardization efforts in this field. This presentation will first focus on a general description of NEWTON project, then on some of the innovative TEL methods, on the first testing efforts of these methods in pilot studies that will be carried out in Dublin City Univeristy and University of the Basque Country-UPV/EHU and the standardization proposals for the QoE evaluation in TEL.
