Zusammenfassung

Land use planning in rural areas is linked to the defined local development policies. Sustainable rural planning should be based on the diverse roles and goods provided by rural areas, being able at the same time to integrate the different expectations and interests of the local stakeholders. In this paper an evaluation method for sustainable development planning in the rural area of Mutriku (Gipuzkoa) is proposed. From a holistic viewpoint, this approach incorporates the participation of the local actors and the knowledge of different disciplines
