Zusammenfassung

In the first place, this study defines the concept of Universal Labour Guarantee, including social protection as one of its elements. For this, the guidelines given by both the International Labour Organization and the European Union are taken into account. Once the Universal Labour Guarantee has been defined, the Basque System for Income Guarantee and Social Inclusion is analyzed, with the aim of showing it as a practical manifestation and example of the Universal Labour Guarantee.
