Resum

Immigrant population experienced with particular harshness the economic crisis that began in 2008 in Spain in general and in the Basque Country in particular. During this period of economic and employment crisis, the population of foreign origin living in Euskadi saw their working conditions worsen, when they were not left without a job, as it is clearly reflected by the Surveys carried out among the population of foreign origin residing in Euskadi (EPIE) in 2010 and 2014. This presentation analyses the evolution of the economic and working conditions of this immigrant population over the last few years. And it is based on the data provided by the EPIE survey, carried out by the Basque Government in the last quarter of 2018 among a total of 2,418 people, with a sampling error of 1.20%.
