Résumé

The hepatic metastasis is a pathology that presents severe consequences and his incident is increasing progressively in the western world. The strategies designed up to the moment are not completely effective against this disease and offer relative life expectancies in the treatment of this pathology, so that in many occasions one resorts to the surgery with his consequent problems that the operation carries. Before these perspectives, there turns out to be essential the design of new strategies destined to treat this type of pathologies, for what there is necessary the knowledge of the molecular mechanisms responsible for his development to identify possible therapeutic reveilles on which to act. In this respect, previous studies demonstrated that the expression of TGFâ1 is involved in the failure of most of the conventional therapies of the hepatic metastasis. Therefore by means of the employment of the inhibiting peptides of TGFâ1 P17 and P144, we could have disabled several mechanisms that they carry to that the hepatic metastasis develops from the colorectal cancer. In addition there is thought that the epithelial-mesenchymal transition induced by the TGFâ1, it is capable of inducing the formation of the Cancer Stem Cells, cellular type responsible for the recurrence of a great variety of tumour types. By means of these peptides also we could have disabled the acquisition of properties of Cancer Stem cells of the tumour cells. Therefore, we can say that the inhibiting peptides of TGFâ1 P17 and P144 can be workforce at the moment of reducing the hepatic resultant metastasis of the colorectal cancer.
