Résumé

IEP4-Infantil is the design of a new questionnaire to evaluate the perceived emotional intelligence in primary. The objectives of the study were: (a) to check the internal structure of emotional intelligence in Primary Education, and (b) to demonstrate the validity of said structure and questionnaire (content validity, construct validity and reliability) (Antonio, 2019; Lacave , Molina, Fernández and Redondo, 2015; Pérez, Chacón and Moreno, 2000). The IEP4-Child questionnaire is administered. The results confirm the reliability and consistency of the IEP4-Child scale (α Cronbach = .78; McDonald =.93; Average Variance Extract, VME = .59) indicating its correct operation, and the validity of the construct, from of the statistical analyzes of the items (descriptive; correlational) and of the exploratory factor analysis of the 11 items to saturate (with a score between .70-.89) uniquely and unequivocally in their corresponding factor.
