Resumo

One of the biggest problems today is the lack of physical activity and unhealthy attitudes in our society, so a great conceptual diversity has been created with very different ways of understanding and evaluating it, which has resulted in a lot and in a large number and heterogeneity of measuring instruments. The objective of this research is to review and classify different instruments of measurement of physical activity under three criteria the type of constructs on which the items are built, the dimensions of physical activity used and how the measurement of the data is carried out. After an analysis of 30 measuring instruments, it is concluded that there is no appropriate questionnaire. The possible causes of such diversity are discussed when registering the variable by highlighting the different ways of measuring it.
