Résumé

In this communication the design of a PBL, Problem Based Learning, for teaching of physical and mechanical properties of materials in Fundamentals of Materials I course in Technical Arquitecture degree is presented. This PBL was implemented in the academic year 2012/13. On the basis of the obtained examination results, we can confirm that the methodology is adequate and positive for the acquisition of the results of learning proposed for the course.
