Resumo

The options of relationship and trade between enterprises (or business to business) have experimented a definitive impulse due to the development of information and communications technologies. There is so much talk about how the Internet changes traditional business models, that the authors consider it is important to reflect about what are the real new developments and their implications for the parts. In this context, the marketplaces or virtual markets are becoming a real platform of relationship and business to business interchange, specially in a sectorial context, points that they see in this article.
