Zusammenfassung

At present, there is an increasing number of teachers from Higher Education Institutions seeking innovative methods that allow the creation and management of teaching-learning spaces in a mobile collaborative environment in where students are encouraged to interact, becoming the protagonists of their academic formation. On the one hand, these institutions develop virtual courses on Technology Learning Platforms; on the other hand, the student is increasingly immersed in the world of technology, specifically in the use of mobile devices at any time and place, for the purpose of leisure like games, social networks, etc. This is how it is being implemented in the virtual classroom of a subject, the strategy "6 steps to gamification", a strategy that allows the use of game mechanics and rewards in non-play environments as an alternative that encourages students to spontaneously participate and be actively involved in the teaching-learning process by performing activities that consider certain playful aspects. In the same way, it has allowed to obtain results where there is a tendency in the improvement of the academic performance of the students.
